Salon du Chat at ‘Culture and Chips’ – Limerick’s Food Festival

Chips are part of our culture right? Fish and chips after a sunny day at the beach, chips on the way home from the pub, chips at your birthday party… Chips – the ultimate comfort food.

Nigel Dugdale and the rest of the creative team behind Limerick’s newest festival ‘Culture and Chips’ have got it spot on. Chips are a central part of Irish culture so let’s celebrate them. And Salon du Chat is delighted to be part of this quirky food festival.

To make this even more exciting Salon du Chat is being programmed in the fabulous and beautiful Spiegeltent. As all you Electric Picnic goers know Salon du Chat has been in plenty of tents, but the Spiegeltent is a super posh version. With pretty mirrors, a real floor, a bar and comfy seats, the Spiegeltent is a far cry from our usual tent!

We’ll be cooking up a new menu just for the festival. And you’ll definitely get a chance to have a chat about chips, but, we won’t be limiting the menu to the wonderful spud. Expect the usual curious mix of culture, music, politics, word play and fun.

Salon du Chat takes place on Monday 2nd June at 7:30pm in the Spiegeltent on Arthur’s Quay. This is a FREE event.

So put it in your calendar, set the reminder on your phone and book the baby sitter. You don’t want to miss Salon du Chat in the Spiegeltent at Culture and Chips, surely????
